What type of counseling is provided?
Here at Family Crisis Resource Center, Inc., we offer a trauma-based approach, along with crisis management for individuals only. Confidentiality is one of our main priorities for our clients.
Who is eligible for these servICES?
Anyone who is a victim of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, sexual abuse, or incest is eligible. We see children as young as 5 and older. We currently offer services to those in Maryland. Clients can be seen in person or via telehealth based on the individual's own level of comfort.
What is the cost for this service?
All of our victims' services are free of charge.
Crisis intervention
Crisis intervention is provided by a support staff member. Crisis sessions serve as short term, reinforcement of safety. Sessions typically consist of grounding, safety planning, support options, resources, and a confidential space to talk. Crisis sessions may be provided before starting counseling or at a later time.
