What type of counseling is provided?

Here at Family Crisis Resource Center, Inc., we offer a trauma-based approach, along with crisis management for individuals only. Confidentiality is one of our main priorities for our clients. ​

Who is eligible for these servICES?

Anyone who is a victim of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, sexual abuse, or incest is eligible. We see children as young as 5 and older. We currently offer services to those in Maryland. Clients can be seen in person or via telehealth based on the individual's own level of comfort. ​

What is the cost for this service?

All of our victims' services are free of charge. ​

Crisis intervention

Crisis intervention is provided by a support staff member. Crisis sessions serve as short term, reinforcement of safety. Sessions typically consist of grounding, safety planning, support options, resources, and a confidential space to talk. Crisis sessions may be provided before starting counseling or at a later time.
