"Safety is your right, not something you have to earn"

What is a safety plan?

A safety plan for domestic violence is a personalized, practical plan that helps someone stay safer while living with, leaving, or recovering from an abusive relationship. The core idea is to think through specific actions, resources, and supports ahead of time, so you’re not trying to make decisions in a moment of crisis.
A safety plan template is available to you for download or to print off. Make sure to put it in a safe place or make the file name neutral if you are still in an abusive relationship or attempting to leave.
